Sure Firen' Charlie

It is with great sadness, that we said goodbye to Charlie in the Summer of 2010.

The first thing one notices about Charlie is his size. He is huge! I bet he weighs about 120 pounds. You can get an idea of his size as he and Goldie sniff and run through our grass. We always thought Goldie was buff until Charlie stood next to her.

The next thing you notice about Charlie is just how laid back he is. He is a very quiet dog, loves attention and loves being next to his people.....until you start throwing tennis balls. Then, he becomes all business. Jumping in the watering hole is his other favorite thing to do.

He is half American and half English. When it comes to retrieving he is ready and able. Eye cert clear. EIC and CMN clear.

It was fun to get all of these puppy pictures of Charlie. What amazed me was how much of Charlie's face structure you could see when he was still very young.

In every one of these pictures, Charlie is the pup on the far right of the photo and his head shape is the same as it is today. He was also very relaxed. In many of the photos, he was the only pup laying down as in the photo below snuggling against his sibling.
