Eight and one half weeks old

Papillon ears stand up slowly and his ears are just beginning to stand up. Today he looked so goofy  because one ear is trying to stand up and one ear is down.

Eight weeks old and 2lbs 11oz.

The old rule of thumb, triple the weight of an 8 week puppy and double the weight at 12 weeks. That rule predicts this little boy to mature at 8lbs 1oz.  Below are his pictures at 8 weeks of age!

This puppy was such a character when we had him outside today. First we had to talk him into posing for the camera....it was a warm day and he just wanted to sleep...

He gave us one good pose......

And, then he started making silly faces......

Once we got him awake, he loved being in the grass!
