Friday night, Magi, the father, sat
on my lap as I worked on the computer. He loves attention and loves
to cuddle.
Noel was in my bedroom, panting, and I
had troubles going to sleep in fear that I wouldn't awaken. Jessie
slept in my room to be on whelp watch with me. At 4:30, I awoke to
Jessie saying that Noel was pushing!
By daylight
of May 2, we were rejoicing with Noel over her 3 new
puppies!
Below is a
video of these puppies coming into the world!
Munchkin is reserved and flew to Michigan
to live with his family. He has matured at 10.00 pounds. He is very
well cared for!
I received this email from Robin in Jan.
of 2011. I can tell Munchkin has a great home!
Hi Beth,
Thanks for sharing. Congrats to Mika & her people! I had seen an
earlier Mika agility video on your youtube and was wowed! She's
a natural - and her owner is evidently a good trainer. Agility
is - IMO - a younger person's sport, but I'm still willing to
give it a go. We train all three of our dogs through a local
club about 2 miles from the house.
We are currently working on various stages of obedience/Canine
Good Citizen. When they all have their CGC certs then we will
branch out - Penny will train with TDI as a therapy dog,
Munchkin we think might like agility so we will continue with
him at the Sportsmen's club. Here in Michigan agility courses
tend to be set up indoor so that we can work year round despite
winter weather. The club is housed in a large, heated building
with a special "bouncy" floor - easy on the joints. They host
competitions there as well but I don't know how much actual
competing we will do.
