Warrior has done many things while here with
us. We have shown him, taken him to numerous parades and drive him
around the neighborhood on a consistent basis. He has turned into a very
reliable stallion that we trust completely. He did fairly well in the
local shows despite his training only being with us and feel he could do
very well with a professional. He likes driving and being out. When I
purchased him years back, he was wound tighter than ever, but we use our
minis a lot and he got over that when he found out the job he has here.
He has become a quiet mellow stallion with us.. He is easy to get along
with, never has bitten us or kicked us and we lead him from the barn to
the front pasture without even a halter on. He drives with our mares and
you would never even guess he is a stallion by his behavior.
Warrior’s bite is right on as are the 5
babies I have seen of his. He does toe out, as do many Moon Man babies.
His toeing out does not affect him and to date, only one of his 5 babies
toed out ever so slightly. He is a bred to drive, excellent at it, but
not a halter horse. He is double registered and measured in at 32.75” at
the one AMHR show we were in last October. He performed there just like
he does at home and did very well.If you watch the parade videos on our
site, you will see Warrior in most of them. Moon
Man is now owned by Lisa Barnes and can be seen at

We have only shown once
and we put him in Country Pleasure. His extension and
float are phenomenal and he prefers to drive with his
head a bit lower than single pleasure. We are not
trainers though, just big horse people who have become
addicted to these minis. I am always curious what
Warrior would do in the hands of a trainer. We have
broke many, many horses to drive, but have not shown
much due to us still showing the big horses.
His babies have been
leggy, good movers and beautiful. He does tend to
downsize the mare he is bred to. I also love the necks
he puts on his babies. Click

to see the 2 babies born at our home. Lily is due in
April with another Warrior baby...this is our only baby
this year. I can pasture him with mares or handbreed. He
is very easy to handle and often we forget he is a stallion.
