We were filled with awe! I looked over the rails of the
barn and audibly gasped. We missed
her birth. We hardly ever miss births due to the milk strips and their
reliability. I looked at her and wondered if the birth was easy, what
time she was born, what was the presentation like....Then, these
questions were all answered. Two days later, I realized that my barn
cameras record onto my hard drive. We found the birth!!!!
Turbolina pushed for only 7 minutes and this little filly was out. Many
times, mini babies die by suffocating in the birth sacs, that is one
reason we try to always be there, but Turbo licked and pawed and brought
this beauty into the world like a pro! Thank you Lord and thank you
Turbo!!!
Heaven is a very curious and
very
friendly filly. She has been handled by children since birth and
is now weaned and ready for a new family to love on her. Her
bite and legs are correct. Her bloodlines include Boones Little
Buckeroo with Buckeroos Top Cat as her paternal grandpa. On her
mother's side are many foundation bloodlines. Both of her
parents were wonderful driving horses and had great
temperaments. I expect her to mature around 33- 33.5".
The first of the year, "Heaven" is clipped so
that she can walk down central Phoenix in the Fiesta Bowl parade!
She delighted the crowds! She is our barn clown with her antics. She
always does what you would least expect. If the tack room door is open,
you will find her in there. If there are puddles in the pasture and
every other mini is scared of them, Heaven runs over and lays down in
it, jumps up and lays down on the other side. We so thoroughly enjoy
her. Her color is not accurate in many of these pictures. She is a deep
red color when her coat grows in.
